Brent Little

Founding Partner

Mr. Little earned both a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and a Bachelor of Law (S.Sc. (Ag. Ec), LL.B.) from the University of Saskatchewan in 2006. Following his graduation, Mr. Little clerked for the Court of Queen’s Bench in Regina, Saskatchewan, and was called to the Bar in 2007.

 

Mr. Little commenced his legal career as a Crown Prosecutor with the North Battleford Prosecution District, later serving in the Saskatoon Prosecution District. In 2010, he transitioned to private practice. In 2014, Mr. Little co-founded Little & Company LLP with his wife, Erin Little. Under their leadership, the firm has grown to include four dedicated lawyers, each specializing in diverse areas of law, reflecting the firm's commitment to providing comprehensive legal services.

 

At Little & Company, Mr. Little primarily specializes in criminal law and civil litigation. He handles a broad spectrum of cases, including DUI/Impaired Driving, domestic violence, assault, aggravated assault, theft, fraud, murder, manslaughter, sexual assault, sex offences, gun/weapon offences, and drug offences, as well as acting as complainant counsel for victims of sex crimes. Mr. Little has appeared before all levels of court including the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Mr. Little also has a strong academic presence; in 2024, he began serving as a sessional lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan. Additionally, he has been involved in mentoring law students and is recognized as a Family Mediator.

 

Mr. Little is an active member of the Saskatchewan Bar Association, the Law Society of Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association, the Saskatchewan Defence Lawyers Association, and the Saskatoon Criminal Defence Lawyers Association. His commitment to the legal profession extends beyond his practice, reflecting his dedication to both advocacy and education.
